After the long holiday, it was a joy to fill the kindergarten rooms with play and laughter again. The children happily shared their holiday experiences—where they traveled, who they visited, what they played, and what gifts they received.
We talked about New Year’s traditions and exchanged warm wishes. We also discussed the seasons and practiced their names in both Hungarian and Romanian. The story of The Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf made an appearance, and we reenacted it several times.
We baked pig-shaped cookies, which we enjoyed together. In the new year, we continue to emphasize movement, dancing, and singing. We spent as much time as possible outdoors, where the children had fun using the bikes, slides, and swings again.
We have started 2025 with great energy and are confident that it will be a year full of play and growth!
